IAIAsa would like to invite you to join us for the IAIAsa 2017 National Conference at Goudini Spa, Rawsonville, Western Cape. We hope to attract up to 400 delegates to this conference. The Western Cape provides a beautiful backdrop for the 2017 conference and sets the perfect scene for a spectacular IAIAsa 2017 National Conference.
The main objectives of the IAIAsa 2017 National Conference are to build capacity, educate and inspire role-players within the field of impact assessment, and to encourage networking within the field of impact assessment.
Negative downward environmental trends are, unfortunately, visible all around us. Crafting effective Integrated Environmental Management solutions is about contextualizing the “bigger picture”, defining our short-term environmental objectives while at the same time envisaging our desired future environmental state. Planning for an unpredictable future needs to build in innovation and adaptation. A critical challenge in our professional work is to find ways to achieve our desired future environmental state within the context of socio economic imperatives in South Africa.
